This experiment aimed to investigate the effect of Mao pomace (MP) levels on degradability and rumen gas production using in vitro gas production techniques. The experiment was designed by a completely randomized design (CRD). The dietary treatments were supplemented by MP at 0, 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 mg with 0.5 g of roughage and concentrate ratio at 60:40. It was found that gas production from the insoluble fraction (b) had no effect (p>0.05) by MP supplementation, while potential extent of gas production (a+b) and gas production rate (c) were significantly different among treatments. Cumulative gas production at 96 h was not affected by MP supplementation (p>0.05). Moreover, in vitro dry matter degradability (IVDMD) was not different among groups... |
